How It Works

How Booking Your Airport Transfer Works

Five steps from your fixed price to your driver. Select a step for the details.

Step 1: Get your fixed price

Book one way in either direction, or both ways in one booking. Enter your pick-up address, your airport, the date and time, and the number of passengers and bags.
Going to the airport? Enter your home address and the time you want to be collected, and add your flight number. We check your flight’s departure time and let you know if a different pick-up time would suit better.
Coming home? Enter the airport as your pick-up, add your flight number and set the pick-up time to your flight’s landing time. We track your flight and time your driver’s arrival.
Travelling both ways? Add the return journey in the same booking, with your return flight number. The price is the same each way.
Add extra stops, child or booster seats, or pets in the same form.
Your fixed price appears in seconds.

Step 2: Choose your vehicle

Choose by passengers and luggage: the Standard (3), the Estate (3, with a bigger boot), the MPV (4) or the 8-Seater (up to 8).
Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
Child seats for all ages are free. See the vehicle guide above if you are unsure which to choose.

Step 3: Add your details

Enter your name, mobile number and email address.
Use the extra information box for your house name or number and any pick-up notes.
Check your pick-up address and time before you continue.

Step 4: Pay securely

You pay the full fare online when you book, by card (Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices).
Payments are secured by Stripe, and we never store your card details.
One payment covers the whole journey. It works the same on the website and in the Leo Taxis app.

Step 5: Confirmation, and your driver is assigned

Your booking is confirmed by email straight away, with a receipt for your payment.
For journeys booked well in advance, your driver's name and vehicle details are emailed 48 hours before pick-up. If you book closer to your journey, we assign your driver shortly after you book and email you the details.
To change a booking, email [email protected] with your booking number. You can cancel up to 24 hours before pick-up in your account or the app for a refund, less the card payment fee.
After your trip, we send you a short feedback email.
On your return, your driver meets you in arrivals holding a name card.

Allow extra time on top of the journey time. We recommend at least 20 minutes extra for shorter airport runs such as Exeter or Bristol, and at least 30 minutes extra for longer journeys such as Heathrow or Gatwick. Your driver checks the traffic on the day.

Everything for the journey: tolls, parking, waiting time and child seats. The price you see is the price you pay.

Online when you book, by card, with Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Your confirmation and receipt are emailed straight away, and your DBS-checked driver is assigned before you travel.

You can cancel up to 24 hours before pick-up in your account on our website or app, and we refund your payment to your card, less the payment processing fee charged by our card provider, which cannot be refunded. Refunds usually reach your bank within 5 to 10 working days. Full details are in section 6 of our terms and conditions.

Let us know as soon as you can, by phone on 01823 924 403, by WhatsApp or by email. We are happy to help you rebook your transfer for your new flight and will do everything we can to make it easy. Changes made in good time do not cost you your payment.

We track your flight, so a delay changes nothing. Your driver times their arrival at the airport car park for about 45 minutes to an hour after you land, then waits in arrivals holding a name card. Your first hour of waiting is free at every airport, whether your flight is late or you are held up in customs or the baggage hall.
